Since downtown Grand Rapids won’t be holding their New Year’s Eve party in Rosa Parks Circle this year, many people may be asking themselves, “where should I go to watch that ball drop this New Year’s Eve?” Beer O’Clock has you covered with bars that are guaranteed to be a good time.
Claiming to be Grand Rapids “biggest part on New Year’s Eve”, the B.O.B. will feature six DJ’s across six different stages. General admission will be available at the door for $20 after 6 p.m. and runs until 2 a.m. VIP bottle service will be available in limited quantities.
Their “Back to The 90s: NYE Party” is sure to be a good time featuring all your favorite 90s throwback jams. The event starts at 9 p.m. and lasts until midnight. The age is 21+ and tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
Founders invites you to join their annual New Years Eve party with Grand Rapids Soul Club. The event runs from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. with $10 cover and 21 and over only. The Grand Rapids Soul Club specializes in classic soul, funk, northern, Motown and more.
Their Dueling Piano bar will be a good place to dance and enjoy a drink or four this New Years Eve. Their NYE bash starts at 9 p.m., and runs until 2 a.m., so get their early to avoid the line. $10 cover.
Hopcat is offering a free New Years Eve party named “No Cover. No BS.” This event has no New Year frills and features free entry and the best beers on tap. They will be spinning music from all the great musicians that have passed-away this year. 21+ only and runs from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. with a midnight toast. Cheers!

The Amway Grand Plaza, the JW Marriott Grand Rapids, and the Downtown Courtyard by Marriott are all connected via skywalk. You’re able to hop from party to party in four glamorous hotel ballrooms, each with a distinct theme and energy. Free for hotel guests, otherwise $45 for a wristband
104.5 WSNX presents Beats and Bubbly 2017 hosted by the intersection. This event is sure to be a good time with DJs playing your favorite tunes. The event starts at 8 p.m. and runs until 1:45 a.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
