Area brewers collaborate to create “Beer City Pale Ale”

In honor of Grand Rapids recent designation by the magazine Beer Advocate as “Beer City USA,” members of the Grand Rapids Society of Brewers have collaborated to create their very own “Beer City Pale Ale.”

The recipe for the beer was developed by Wob Wanhatalo of The Hideout Brewing Co., and will be featured at all of the breweries who helped collaborate n the project.

The Michigan Beer Cellar

The B.O.B.’s Brewery

Schmohz Brewing

Although the special brew was released on the 1st of July, according to MLive:

The beer is also being brewed in conjunction with the Michigan Legislature’s designation of July as “Craft Beer Month.” The breweries involved in the Beer City Pale Ale project hope to have the beer on tap for the whole month.
